Just a few friendly reminders from the gentlefolk in the office;
· Floats and fingers are to be kept clear at all times. Any of your personal belongings should be placed either in an appropriate dock box or on your vessel. This includes crab and prawn traps, fishing gear etc. No contaminants such as oil, gasoline/diesel jerry cans, paints or solvents are to be left on the floats. Any items found by marina staff will placed on the nearest vessel or removed.
· Dinghies must be stored on your primary vessel. The racks behind the pump-out shed are for Live Aboards only.
· Please be mindful and place your recyclables in the appropriate bins. Cross contamination will lead to a refusal of pick-up by the service provider. This morning I found food waste, zinc anodes, cardboard and oil all in the containers bin. This is unacceptable folks and I ask that you please be a little more considerate, it impacts all of us. There is absolutely no reason why this should have to be monitored.
· Due to environmental regulations we are only permitted to take recycled oil and antifreeze. We do not accept batteries, gasoline or diesel fuel. We also do not accept BBQ propane canisters. Customers found to be leaving these items in the breeze way will have their moorage privileges revoked.
· Please be considerate to others and limit your time in the vehicle loading zone to 20 minutes. Parking enforcement is active and have ticketed and towed several vehicles in the past week.
The staff work hard to keep the marina clean and I would appreciate it if everyone did their part to ensure a pleasant marina experience for all patrons.
